Infatuated with my new blouse. It’s one of those things that I just happen to be… really unnecessarily proud of? Love every single thing about it.
For one, it’s simple. Minimalistic.
It’s slick.
The fabric is impeccable.
The small details are charming. Not too ostentatious.
Can be both casual and chic.
It’s durable for different occasions and can be worn with pretty much anything.
So it’ll probably be something that I’ll end up overusing. That’s it, pretty much.

Feeling inspired at the moment and altogether quite elated. Or maybe I’m just experiencing a hypomanic episode.
For one (1), I just bought myself a sexy new leather jacket, (2) unknowingly completing the perfect Halloween costume for me. And (3) how perfect is it that I, right after finding out that I do not have to work on All Hallows’ Eve Monday, find the perfect costume by complete coincidence only two days before the highly anticipated?
I guess some things really are just meant to fall together.
And plus so many wonderfully, genial ideas are surging through my head that I don’t even feel anxious for my 8 hour shift tomorrow which I usually fret about the night before.
Anyway, about my costume.
A little bit of history:
I went through a little phase where I obsessed freakishly about James Dean for no specific reason what so ever; to the point where I read about every single little detail of his life, his ideologies and studied his every move in his movies and shows which revolutionized pretty much the meaning of “cool” not only in the 50’s but for every time period since. (How nerdy am I?) So what better way to spend Halloween than to pay tribute to the poster child of “cool” itself - James Dean.

If you must know, he was known for looking effortlessly cool and that I shall do with my sexy new black leather jacket which he, by the way, forever iconized in the fashion world as timeless.

Leather jacket: check!

Blue jeans and white shirt: check!

And lastly, his famous clubmaster sunglasses which I also happen to have thanks to my Uncle who collects old Rayban shades.

So pretty much I’m a crazy person who is freakishly obsessed with this guy and I’m taking it to a whole new level.
My October is complete.
